Just a reminder that people who still live with their parents as adults deserve respect and for you to stop being ableist. There are multiple reasons someone could still live with their parents! From invisible to visible disabilities, finance issues, and more!
Stop using the “well they’re gonna turn into a creep living in their parents basement” punchline! It’s disgusting. STOP. BEING. ABLEIST. STOP. FORGETTING. THE. POOR.
Actually reminder that some people just live with their parents. They may not have any issues. You don't need to justify their reasons. It's not morally incorrect to live with your parents for fucks sake. In some cultures it's even expected.
The usamerican cultural belief that everyone who reaches a certain age is not "independent" until they move out on their own serves to feed into the individualistic focus of capitalism. That's why you have it so ingrained in your brains. But humans used to live comunally. It's not weird or off-putting or nothing you need to justify. It just is. Deconstruct your minds.
being a pick-me is inherently about throwing other women under the bus for male approval. no, a gender non-conforming woman or a woman making a basic feminist critique are not “pick-mes.” saying the makeup industry profits off our insecurities is not exactly a sentiment that endears men to you
Pick me is aave term specifically created by black woman and not really a word for yt ppl to be using liberally trying to define when they don't know really what they're talking about
Link to an article I love about the origins & particular meaning it has to Black women. It is really inappropriate for nonblack women to use this term & it’s equally harmful to criticize it’s use by other nonblack women in ways that gloss over it’s inherent Black context.

divorce is so funny. like never mind
I love how Gen Z is just slowly turning into boomers due to reverse tech illiteracy
There is a massive tech illiteracy problem among young people that is 100% caused by everyone using walled garden mobile devices instead of actual computers
the fact that fat people are made to feel bad about everything down to how loud or hard they are breathing says a lot about this society
so many people are sharing their own experiences with this and i want to thank you all for being vulnerable and bringing more awareness to the struggles the fat community face.
i grew up dancing and ALWAYS breathed so hard and sweat A LOT. to the point my dance teacher would ask me if i'm okay in front of the whole class and i would feel utter humiliation.
i, too, have held my breath when walking across college campus for my classes, or when i was filming a video because i was so scared of someone commenting on my breathing.
this is not something we should have to feel bad for, a NORMAL human thing such as BREATHING. it's been said many times, but it cannot be said enough. we deserve so, so much better than this.
